“Moose” is a popular pond name. There are five Moose Ponds in Oxford County Maine and one Moose Bog. At three acres, our Moose Pond is the smallest pond in the watershed and it’s a bit of an outlier as it’s part of Sucker Brook that flows out of Horseshoe Pond into the Northwest Cove of the lower bay of Kezar Lake. As such, it rises and falls with the spring thaw and can be easily overlooked in summer.

Moose Pond (Midas #3202) can be accessed from Horseshoe Pond Road. There is no data on depth or fisheries.
