We Need People Like You.

Together we can have a lasting impact on the watershed. As a community, family and team we are a powerful force for the protection and enhancement of both the lake and surrounding watershed. There are many projects that would benefit from your support and involvement. Help us sustain this wonderful environment for many generations to come.

We are looking for additional volunteers to participate in our CCO activities. Participation involves fun outings in the forests and on the water along with great companionship with others concerned about the future of our watershed.

Water Quality Committee

If you’re interested in learning more about how we measure the quality of the water in our watershed, this is the place for you! Assist technical experts from FB Environmental as they collect samples from Kezar Lake, 6 Ponds, and 2 Streams three times each year, in June, August and September.

Loon Nesting Platforms

If you are interested in assisting with the construction or annual placement, monitoring and removal of our loon nesting platforms, please email: loon(at)klwa.us

Education Committee

Our group is always looking for additional volunteers to help organize our summer programming, including our very successful Plant Paddles and Eyes on the Water programs, our Annual Meeting in July, and our co-sponsored programs with the Greater Lovell Land Trust. We also need volunteers to help staff our booth at Lovell Old Home Days. Please email: education(at)klwa.us
