Kezar Lake Watershed Association,PO Box 88,Lovell ME 04051
The KLWA needs dedicated volunteers to become active as committee members and trustees. Trustees meet at least three times during the summer;committees meet as needed to focus on such urgent issues as water quality, fisheries, and watershed preservation. Volunteers are needed to create our newsletter, our educational programs, and special events. The work is very satisfying — decisions that KLWA makes today will be felt for years to come. We hope to identify people from throughout the watershed who are interested in participating in committees or serving as future trustees. If you’d like to become more involved in preserving the quality of life in the Kezar Lake watershed, please contact any current trustee or send the ‘Contact Us‘form.
KLWA is a non-profit organization managed by a rotating board of fifteen trustees, representing all sections of the lake and the watershed ponds with residential development. Members are invited to attend and participate in the annual summer meetings as well as keep abreast of current events and issues through the KLWA newsletter, delivered twice a year.
Please join us! All who share an interest in the quality of Kezar Lake and its watershed are welcome to join the Association. Annual membership dues are $50 per household and fully tax deductible. Consider contributing at a higher level — $75,$100,$150,$200,or more — to help preserve and protect one of the most beautiful lakes in America for the enjoyment of future generations.
Corporate Members are welcome. The health of the watershed is of paramount importance for the economy of Lovell and the surrounding towns. Corporate Membership fee is $250. The name of your business will be featured prominently on the website and in the newsletter, which is sent to our membership in the spring and the fall. Thank you for your consideration.
